Bourse Fondation Arbour (Ph. D.)

The Fondation Arbour Scholarship supports doctoral students at HEC Montréal who have completed at least two full-time sessions at a Quebec university in the twelve months preceding the application. Recipients must have at least two full sessions remaining in their program at the time of first payment. The Foundation prioritizes candidates with financial need and who show interest in remaining in Quebec after their studies. Recipients with limited or no French language skills must complete French language training to receive their second payment. This excellence scholarship rewards students with outstanding academic results and evaluates candidates based on academic excellence (45%), financial need (25%), research aptitude and analytical skills (20%), and social involvement, leadership, and entrepreneurship (10%). The scholarship is renewable up to two times, and the Foundation offers optional mentorship services to recipients.
