About this opportunity
The Bowler Ravensdown Scholarship was established from combined funds from the memorial to Dermot G. Bowler, a Massey Agricultural College staff member from 1946 to 1982, and funds established in 2011 from rebates on Ravensdown fertilisers bought by Massey University's farms. This scholarship supports a postgraduate student studying soil science full time at Massey University. Preference will be given to those undertaking research in soil water or soil nutrient management. The scholarship is awarded for one year's duration with a value of up to $5,000. Applicants must be enrolled full time in a postgraduate degree or diploma in agriculture or horticulture and be studying soil science with the College of Sciences at Massey University. Selection is based on academic achievements and the relevance of the applicant's study to the intentions of the scholarship, particularly in relation to soil science and soil water management.
