About This Opportunity

The BP Widening Participation Scholarships are designed to support undergraduate students from widening participation backgrounds entering the Faculty of Engineering at Imperial College London. Each successful scholar will receive a cash bursary of £9,500 per academic year to cover maintenance and living costs. The scholarship is available for a maximum of 4 years, excluding repeat periods of study. The scholarship amount will be reduced if the awardee is in receipt of the Imperial Bursary to cap the total funding to the average of upper cost of living band. Seven awards are available for students starting in autumn 2025 in the Departments of Chemical Engineering, Earth Science & Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. Students must qualify for the College's contextual admissions route and possess Home fee status.
