About this opportunity
The Bragato Undergraduate Award is an annual scholarship granted to New Zealand students undertaking full-time degree courses in viticulture or wine sciences at recognised academic institutions. The award supports undergraduate students who have successfully completed at least one year of study and gained pass marks in all subjects. The scholarship provides financial assistance toward the cost of manuals, books, course fees, and course materials. The award is managed by the Bragato Trust Board of Trustees and aims to support passionate students pursuing careers in New Zealand's wine industry. Recipients are selected based on academic performance, passion for the wine industry, personal presentation, general knowledge, and character. The award is for one year only, but recipients may reapply in subsequent years. Successful awardees are required to furnish a written report at the end of the study award year.
