Brent and Dolores Andressen Award in Water Conservation and Environmental Science

The Brent and Dolores Andressen Award in Water Conservation and Environmental Science is awarded to students entering the third year of a BSc degree program in Environmental and Conservation Sciences at the University of Alberta's Faculty of Agricultural, Life and Environmental Sciences. The award is specifically designated for students who have completed or are enrolled in one or more courses pertaining to water conservation and demonstrate a minimum GPA of 2.5. Recipients are selected based on their demonstrated interest in and commitment to water and environmental conservation. The award is made possible through endowed funds established by Brent Andressen (BEd 1976, BA 1980, MEd 1996) and Dolores Andressen (BA 1975, BEd 1980), reflecting their dedication to supporting students passionate about environmental stewardship. This scholarship supports undergraduate students pursuing studies in environmental and conservation sciences with a particular focus on water resource management and conservation. Students are automatically considered for this award based on their completed General Application through the University of Alberta's scholarship system.
