About This Opportunity
The Brian and Lydia Gray Scholarship provides support to talented students who have the academic potential to study at York, and who have overcome significant barriers to their educational goals. Thanks to a generous donation to the University, this scholarship is designed to help UK students from lower-income households pursue undergraduate chemistry degrees. The award is open to UK-based students starting an undergraduate degree in Chemistry in September of each year with a residual household income under £42,875. Each award is paid in instalments for three years and is awarded subject to satisfactory academic progress. This award has been extremely competitive in previous years.
