About this opportunity
The Brian Clarke Memorial Bursary honors Brian Clarke, a consummate educator who spent 40 years at NAIT with Instrumentation Engineering Technology, many as an Instructor within the Apprenticeship program. Brian was a tinkerer and inventor who would always think up innovative ways to teach students, helping to improve the Instrumentation program. He spent several years helping educators in Thailand, Cuba, Argentina, and Kuwait. This award is set up in Brian's memory by a former student and colleague (Bob Found EET '81, IET '86) in consultation with Brian's family.
The bursary is available to students entering Instrumentation Engineering Technology at NAIT. It is awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need and satisfactory academic achievement. Preference is given to Black, Indigenous or Persons of Colour (BIPOC). Students must complete an application to be considered for this award.
