Brian Hansen Athletics Scholarship Fund

The Brian Hansen Athletics Scholarship Fund was established in 2013 and revised in 2019 by Elaine Hansen, ED. B. '78 and ED.M. '80 in order to honor the legacy of her late-husband, Brian Hansen. This scholarship is specifically designated for student-athletes participating in the intercollegiate varsity women's basketball program at the University at Buffalo. The scholarship is administered under the management of the Director of Athletics in consultation with the Head Coach for Women's Basketball. The award amount varies depending on available funding and the number of qualified applicants each year.
