Bright Futures Fund

The Bright Futures Fund in partnership with Forever Manchester supports Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector community groups based in Greater Manchester. The Fund was created following the acquisition of the Juice Academy by Apprentify, with the sale proceeds donated to Forever Manchester. The Fund focuses on projects aiming to improve social mobility, develop skills and support people from a wide variety of backgrounds into or back into work and careers. Awards of up to £5,000 are available to organizations with an annual income of less than £250,000. The Fund particularly emphasizes supporting young people, from secondary school age through the early stages of their careers, though there is no upper age limit. Supported projects may include ongoing activities that develop communication, teamwork and other life/work skills, sessions helping young people develop interview skills, coaching and mentoring for career development, and projects supporting young people to develop new enterprises.
