British Council English and School Education Scholarships Scheme - MSc TESOL (Online)

The British Council will provide 15 scholarships for government school educators from Bangladesh, India and Sri Lanka in the academic year 2026/27 to complete the MSc TESOL (Online) at the University of Stirling. The online course will commence in September 2026 and include a two-week study visit to the UK, offering scholars an immersive academic and cultural experience. This fully funded scholarship covers tuition and associated costs for government-sector English language educators. The program is designed as part-time online study for up to 30 months, allowing flexibility for working professionals while they pursue their master's degree. The scholarship includes a bespoke two-week UK study visit for academic enrichment and cultural exchange, providing access to world-class faculty and resources from leading UK universities. Scholars will have the opportunity to specialise in teacher development and teacher education, enhancing their professional expertise in TESOL. Additionally, recipients will gain membership of the British Council's global alumni network for ongoing professional growth and networking opportunities throughout their careers.
