About this opportunity

The British Council English and School Education Scholarships Scheme provides 20 scholarships for government school educators from Bangladesh, India, and Sri Lanka to complete the MSc TESOL (Online) at the University of Stirling. The scholarship is fully funded, covering tuition and associated costs, and allows part-time online study for up to 30 months, enabling flexibility for working professionals. The program includes a bespoke two-week UK study visit for academic enrichment and cultural exchange, access to world-class faculty and resources from the University of Stirling, and the opportunity to specialise in teacher development and teacher education. Scholarship awardees also gain membership in the British Council's global alumni network for ongoing professional growth. A key objective of the scholarships is that awardees will make a significant contribution to the development of English language teaching in their home countries. The online course commences in September 2026 and finishes in March 2029.
