About This Opportunity

Brunel, in partnership with British Council, offers five fully funded scholarships for female students from Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines and Viet Nam as part of the British Council Scholarship for Women in STEM. This scholarship is available to full-time international students pursuing specific 1-year master's programmes in STEM fields including engineering, public health, cancer research, and artificial intelligence. The scholarship provides comprehensive support including tuition fees, monthly stipend for up to 12 months, return economy-class travel, IELTS exam fee, and visa/insurance costs. Recipients must demonstrate financial need, have work experience or proven interest in their subject area, and commit to returning to their country of citizenship for a minimum of two years after the scholarship ends. Scholars are expected to contribute to capacity-building and socio-economic advancement in their home countries after graduation.
