Broad Memorial Scholarship

The Broad Memorial Scholarship is designed to support postgraduate students studying and researching Earth and Environmental Sciences at the University of Waikato. This scholarship provides financial assistance up to $10,000 for students enrolled in research-based postgraduate degrees including Master of Science (Research), Master of Philosophy, or PhD programs. The scholarship is specifically intended for students undertaking research in the field of Earth Sciences and/or Environmental Sciences, with a preference given to those conducting research related to Antarctica and/or Earth Science. Students must be enrolled either full-time or part-time and have at least 9 months remaining on their enrolment at the time of application, with the intention to remain enrolled during the year of tenure. This funding opportunity aims to enable advanced research in critical areas of Earth and Environmental Sciences.
