Broadcast Journalism Scholarship

The Broadcast Journalism Scholarship is awarded to students majoring in Broadcast Journalism at Eastern Illinois University who demonstrate an interest in pursuing a career in broadcast journalism. Recipients must be accepted as full-time students with a minimum 2.0 GPA. The scholarship requires either nomination by Journalism faculty members for current students, or a recommendation letter from a high school counselor, advisor, or administrator for incoming freshmen. Recipients may reapply and receive the award in subsequent years provided they continue to meet the eligibility criteria. Awards are announced in the Spring and paid the following Fall semester.
