About this opportunity
The Brookby Water Science Scholarship provides $5,000 to graduate students enrolled in the School of Freshwater Sciences at UW-Milwaukee. Recipients must design and implement a water outreach and education plan to serve a targeted segment of the community. This project can fulfill the MS Professional Science internship requirement. Proposals should have clear objectives, be multidisciplinary in nature, and include both science and professional components. The scholarship is designed to provide an integrative learning experience, engaging students in real-world work situations involving water science literacy, teamwork, communication skills, and problem solving. Students receiving the scholarship are required to give a presentation on their project at the PSM Internship Symposium held at the end of each term.
