Brookes College Award

The Brookes College Award is available to grade 12 students completing their high school diploma requirements at Calgary Board of Education and Calgary Catholic School District schools. The award supports students who demonstrate financial need and wish to pursue post-secondary education. New Canadians are encouraged to apply, although this is not a requirement. The award recognizes students who show commitment to learning and potential to successfully complete their educational path. Recipients must use the award within one year of notification for enrollment in an eligible program of post-secondary study in Canada, skilled trades or apprenticeship programs, or institutions providing certification that will enable them to earn a living wage. Upgrading programs at eligible institutions are also acceptable. Up to four awards are available annually, with recipients selected by September by the EducationMatters Selection Committee, which may include the donor or their representative.
