About this opportunity
A scholarship valued at $2,000, awarded annually to a graduate student registered full-time in the first year of either a Master's or Doctoral program in the Department of Geography and Environmental Management in the Faculty of Environment at the University of Waterloo. This fund is made possible by donations from friends and family of Dr. Bruce Mitchell, in honour of his outstanding career at the University of Waterloo. Students must be conducting research in the area of Environment and Resource Management and demonstrate academic excellence with a minimum cumulative average of 80%. Selection is based on academic merit and a one-page research statement outlining how the student's research topic connects to the general theme of Environment and Resource Management.
