About this opportunity

The Bruce Wilson Memorial Award in Native Studies is awarded to students who are First Nation, Inuit, or MΓ©tis people of Canada in accordance with the Constitution Act, 1982, Part 2, Section 35(2) with satisfactory academic standing entering the final year of studies in the Bachelor of Arts in the Faculty of Native Studies. Recipients will be selected on the basis of academic standing and involvement in the Indigenous community. Preference is given to students with indicated financial need. This endowed award was established by Douglas and Jane Wilson in memory of their son, Bruce Morgan Wilson.
