Brukerstyrte hus på rusmiddelfeltet

This grant program supports user-controlled houses in the substance abuse field. The goal of the program is for the target group - based on user-controlled activities - to experience citizenship, improved social belonging, and reduced harm from substance abuse. The target group mainly consists of people with ongoing substance abuse, people under rehabilitation, and former substance abusers, but may also include relatives of or bereaved by substance addicts. Grants can only be awarded to user-controlled houses where at least two or more user organizations in the substance abuse field are owners, or where these organizations together have formed an enterprise to operate the user-controlled house. The program is administered by the Norwegian Directorate of Health (Helsedirektoratet) and provides funding to voluntary and non-profit organizations that meet the eligibility criteria.
