Bærum Kulturpris

Bærum Kulturpris is an annual cultural prize awarded to individuals or organizations that have made an extraordinary contribution to the arts and cultural life in Bærum municipality. The prize recognizes those who have created arts and cultural joy for the municipality's residents and honors particularly active persons and organizations in promoting local cultural life. The award aims to acknowledge exceptional efforts in local, regional, national, or international cultural activities that contribute to positive profiling of Bærum. Recipients are selected by a jury consisting of the chair of the main committee for Volunteerism, Sports and Culture, the head of culture, two representatives from Bærum Cultural Council, and the leader of Culture and Collaboration in Bærum municipality. The prize is awarded at a ceremony held at Bærum Kulturhus in January each year.
