About This Opportunity

The Bryce Thomson Scholarship Fund was established in 1995 by the board of the North American Ice Cream Association, honoring a man whose fifty-plus year commitment to the ice cream and frozen dessert industry is unparalleled. This scholarship provides financial support to employees and their families working for active member companies of the North American Ice Cream Association (NAICA) in good standing. The scholarship is available to high school seniors graduating in 2025, as well as college freshmen, sophomores, and juniors. Candidates may pursue any undergraduate degree at an accredited public or nonprofit independent college or university in the United States. Both full-time and part-time enrollment are acceptable, and candidates may pursue any course of study. For 2025, the program is offering 25 scholarships totaling $80,000, ranging from $2,000 to $6,000 per award. This provides significant financial assistance to students connected to the ice cream and frozen dessert industry through their family's employment.
