Bud and Jo Sanders Scholarship

The Bud and Jo Sanders Scholarship is awarded to full-time undergraduate students at Eastern Illinois University who work at least 20 hours per week while maintaining their studies. This scholarship recognizes the efforts of working students, with preference given to those employed as Building Service Workers at EIU. Recipients must maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA and demonstrate financial need. The scholarship requires verification of employment and a letter of recommendation from the employer. Recipients may reapply for the award in subsequent years if they continue to meet the eligibility criteria. The award is announced in the Spring semester and disbursed in the Fall semester.
