About this opportunity
The Building a Future Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship offered by the Tarrant County College Foundation to support students attending TCC South Campus. The scholarship is available to currently enrolled or entering students who intend to pursue an associate degree or certificate of completion. Recipients must maintain enrollment in at least 9 credit hours (including developmental coursework) and demonstrate academic achievement with a minimum GPA of 2.5.
This scholarship is designed to support students throughout the academic year with renewable funding. Fall semester recipients who achieve a minimum semester GPA of 2.5 and complete at least 9 credit hours will automatically receive a spring scholarship. The award is merit-based and does not require a demonstration of financial need, making it accessible to students who meet the academic criteria.
Eligibility requires attendance at the TCC South Campus specifically, with a minimum TCC GPA of 2.5 for continuing students or a high school equivalent for first-time TCC students. Students are automatically considered for this scholarship based on their completed General Application through the AcademicWorks platform.
