Building Happier Futures Fund

The Building Happier Futures Fund is a charitable grant program operated by the John Lewis Partnership Foundation that supports young people who have experienced the care system. The Trustees prioritize projects that are sustainable, create quantifiable legacy, and demonstrably improve social inclusion for the care-experienced community. The Trustees look favorably on innovative projects, difficult issues that don't normally attract funding, and initiatives that demonstrate potential for leverage with other funding streams. They prefer funding discrete projects or discrete areas of larger projects rather than providing top-up shortfall funding, and they prioritize lasting positive impacts for smaller groups over light-touch benefits for larger numbers.
