Building Improvement Grants

Benefact Trust's Building Improvement Grant programme provides essential support to protect and enhance churches and Christian charity buildings across the UK and Ireland, ensuring their continued use and the safeguarding of their heritage. The programme supports buildings which are mainly in public use, either as churches or by the beneficiaries of Christian charities. The grants make contributions towards capital projects including essential repairs to ensure the viability of a building, works or equipment to improve accessibility, energy efficiency measures, conservation or restoration of historic features, and aesthetic enhancements to indoor or outdoor spaces. The programme does not fund regular maintenance and works normally covered by insurance.
