About This Opportunity
The Burgner Memorial Scholarship is awarded to Biology majors from Charleston or Mattoon High School, or rural residents of Coles County, who are interested in studying botany, zoology, or environmental sciences. The scholarship recipient must be a graduate of Charleston or Mattoon High School, with further preference given to rural residents of Coles County. The recipient must be of outstanding character, majoring in Biological Sciences, and desiring to study Animal Sciences, Botanical Sciences, or Environmental Science.
