Burton Wold Community Wind Farm Fund

The Burton Wold Community Wind Farm Fund has been established on behalf of Laing Construction to provide grants to projects which benefit residents specifically in the parishes of Burton Latimer and Cranford where the wind farm is located. The fund will support a variety of educational, environmental, charitable and general community amenity projects and will be available for the lifetime of the Burton Wold Community Wind Farm. Northamptonshire Community Foundation is the fund's independent administrator. Example projects that may apply for funding include training and volunteering schemes, pocket parks and green spaces, arts and preservation of local heritage, and youth clubs and safety schemes. The fund is designed to support small, locally managed, voluntary, community or self-help groups, with Parish Councils also eligible to apply for non-statutory activity. While the fund primarily wishes to support small projects with grants of up to £5,000, larger projects will also be considered for grants of up to £30,000.
