Business School Inspiring Futures Scholarship

The Business School Inspiring Futures Scholarship was established in 2013 and is funded by the University of Auckland Faculty of Business and Economics. The scholarship supports students from Decile 1 to 3 secondary schools or kura who are enrolling full-time in the first year of a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom), Bachelor of Property (BProp), or associated conjoint degree. The main purpose of the Scholarship is to assist students with demonstrated academic ability from low-decile secondary schools who are entering the University from school and who, because of financial hardship, may not otherwise be able to undertake a university degree. The scholarship provides financial assistance of $5,000 per annum for up to three years of study. Up to six scholarships are offered annually to help remove financial barriers for talented students from disadvantaged educational backgrounds pursuing business and economics education at the University of Auckland.
