About this opportunity
The Business School International Scholarship is awarded to international students of high academic merit at the University of Sydney Business School. This scholarship provides financial support ranging from $5,000 to $10,000 to international students commencing a second degree at master's level at the Business School. The scholarship is designed to recognize exceptional academic achievement and support students transitioning from their first degree at the University of Sydney to a coursework master's program.
Recipients must have completed a degree at the University of Sydney in the teaching period immediately prior to the semester for which the scholarship is offered. The scholarship is available for most coursework master's degrees delivered by the Business School, excluding MBA, MBA Leadership and Enterprise, MBA Technology and Digital Strategy, and Executive MBA programs. Students are automatically considered during the admission process with no separate application required.
The scholarship amount is determined based on academic merit, with $10,000 awarded to students of exceptional academic merit and $5,000 to students of very high academic merit. The payment is made as a credit to the student's fee account after the census date and can be used to offset tuition fees in the following semester. Scholarship recipients may be invited to promote the program, represent the University at events, and serve as Business School Student Ambassadors.
Note that this scholarship will not be offered in Semester 1 2026. The scholarship cannot be deferred or suspended without prior approval and is subject to availability of funds.
