About this opportunity

The Business School Post-Submission Award is a postgraduate research scholarship at the University of Sydney designed to support PhD students who have demonstrated strong potential for careers in prestigious academic and industrial positions. The award provides financial support for up to 6 months after thesis submission to help recipients improve their publication record and better prepare for job market success. The scholarship is specifically targeted at PhD candidates within the University of Sydney Business School who are within 6 months of their expected thesis submission date. Recipients must be under examination for their PhD and must not have consumed more than 14 research periods at the start of the award. The funding allows students to focus on strengthening their research outputs during the critical post-submission period. Selection is based on research outputs (journals, conferences, books), quality and potential impact of proposed research pipeline, evidence of awards or excellence in research or teaching, and alignment with United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and Principles of Responsible Management Education (PRME).
