About this opportunity
The Business School Supplementary Research Scholarship (BSSRS) is a postgraduate research scholarship designed to support outstanding research students at the University of Sydney Business School who have been awarded an external primary research scholarship. This supplementary scholarship provides additional financial support to bring the total funding up to the university's Research Training Program (RTP) stipend rate.
The scholarship provides a supplementary annual stipend allowance equivalent to the difference between the primary scholarship amount and the University's nominated RTP rate during the tenure of the primary scholarship. This ensures that all students receive funding at the standard RTP level regardless of their primary scholarship amount. The scholarship also covers the Student Services and Amenities Fee.
This scholarship is automatically awarded to eligible students upon receiving a primary stipend scholarship, with no separate application required. The BSSRS supports both Research Doctorate and Research Masters students enrolled in the University of Sydney Business School, providing funding for up to 14 research periods for doctoral students and up to 7 research periods for masters students.
