About this opportunity
The BUSS4909 Startup Project Scholarship is a $5,000 undergraduate scholarship established by the University of Sydney Business School to support students enrolled in the start-up accelerator program. The scholarship is available to students in the Bachelor of Advanced Studies who have completed the prerequisite units of study BUSS4907 and BUSS4908 in the previous semester and are currently enrolled in BUSS4909: Startup Project.
The scholarship is awarded on merit based on the recipient's average mark for BUSS4907 and BUSS4908. The selection committee consists of the Head of Discipline of Strategy, Innovation and Entrepreneurship and at least one other academic staff member in the Discipline. The award is paid as a one-off payment after the census date and is subject to the availability of funds.
Recipients must remain enrolled in their degree and in the unit of study BUSS4909 during the tenure of the scholarship. The scholarship will be terminated if the recipient withdraws from the unit, is found guilty of serious misconduct, or does not resume study after a period of approved leave. Deferral is not permitted. This scholarship is not currently offered in 2026.
