Bygg bredband i Övre Norrland – en investering i digital jämlikhet

Through EU financing, this opportunity supports the expansion of robust broadband infrastructure in Västerbotten and Norrbotten. The funding aims to meet the growing need for fast and secure connectivity, which is key to regional development, innovation and digital equality. Projects can contribute to the expansion of inter-community networks and/or access networks with optical fiber or other technical solutions with equivalent transmission capacity required to reach the national broadband target 2025. The funding is directed to initiatives in areas prioritized in regional broadband strategies and/or regional needs assessments. Important results include enabling more households and businesses to access high-capacity broadband, contributing to reduced geographic, social and economic gaps, and strengthening regional cohesion.
