Byggnadspriset för god arkitektur

Byggnadspriset för god arkitektur is an annual architectural prize awarded by Växjö Municipality to recognize and encourage projects with good architecture and adaptation to the site within the area of good built environment. The prize has been awarded every year since 1990 and goes to a developer for an outstanding building project. Projects can include newly built apartment buildings, renovated old quarters, or extended industrial premises. A jury nominates candidates for the prize and the Environment and Building Committee selects the winner. The award consists of a diploma with a motivation text and a commemorative plaque. The Building Prize is presented in connection with the distribution of the Wood Building Prize on November 20th.
