Byron K. Elliott Memorial Scholarship Fund

The Byron K. Elliott Memorial Scholarship Fund was created at The Pittsburgh Foundation in memory of Byron K. Elliott, 1870-1962, an early resident of Hagerstown, Wayne County, Indiana and a student in Hagerstown schools. This scholarship provides financial assistance to graduating seniors from Hagerstown High School in Hagerstown, Indiana who plan to pursue higher education. Applicants must demonstrate financial need and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0. The scholarship supports students planning to attend accredited vocational or technical trade schools, or 2-year or 4-year colleges or universities. This is a single-year award with an average amount of $2,000, designed to help local students from the Hagerstown community access post-secondary education opportunities.
