Byron McKenna Memorial Award

Established in 2009, the Byron McKenna Memorial Award is available to one full-time student enrolled in each year of the Heavy Equipment Technician program at Lakeland College, Vermilion campus. The award recognizes students who best exhibit safety standards and promotes those standards among other students. This award is designed to encourage and reward students who demonstrate exemplary commitment to workplace safety and serve as positive role models for their peers in the trades and technology field.
