About this opportunity
The C. A. Ensign Fund was created at The Pittsburgh Foundation to provide a scholarship for a graduating senior at Newton Falls High School in Newton Falls, Ohio. The scholarship is designed to support students who have been disproportionately affected by systemic barriers to educational achievement and who show interest and talent in English and journalism. This single-year award provides financial assistance to students pursuing post-secondary education at accredited vocational or technical trade schools, or 2- or 4-year colleges or universities. Preference is given to applicants who display special talent or interest in English or Journalism and who have faced systemic barriers to educational achievement. The scholarship demonstrates The Pittsburgh Foundation's commitment to supporting educational access and equity for underserved students.
