C. Roger Sorensen Business Scholarship

The C. Roger Sorensen Business Scholarship is awarded to students from Mattoon High School who have been admitted to the Lumpkin College of Business and Applied Sciences at Eastern Illinois University, majoring in business, technology, or hospitality. If no suitable recipients are available from Mattoon High School, secondary preference is given to students from other high schools in Coles County. The scholarship is announced in the spring and awarded in the fall. This opportunity supports students pursuing various programs including Accounting, Applied Engineering and Technology, Business Administration, Computer and Information Technology, Consumer Sciences, Dietetics, Family and Consumer Sciences, Finance, Geographic Information Systems, Hospitality, Management, Marketing, and Technology Education. Students are automatically considered based on their completed General Application.
