Cairngorm-Kurrajong Residential Scholarship Endowment

The Cairngorm-Kurrajong Residential Scholarship Endowment is part of the UQ Residential Scholarships Scheme. This scholarship was established in 2021 by Alumni Friends Society under the Create Change Scholarship Match Initiative to support students experiencing financial hardship with the cost of residential fees. The scholarship provides $4,500 per annum (subject to the annual distribution from the relevant fund and may be more or less in some years) towards accommodation fees for domestic undergraduate students at The University of Queensland. The scholarship is maintained by income generated from the underlying endowment fund. Eligible students must be enrolled full-time in an approved program, be a resident at an approved accommodation provider, and demonstrate financial hardship by providing documentary evidence. Up to 2 scholarships are awarded annually, covering the minimum completion time of the student's program.
