About this opportunity

The Calgarians Improving Society Award was founded in 2021 by the Cooke family to help exceptional, community-minded young people choosing to study in Calgary enter careers that will make a positive contribution to Canadian society. This scholarship is designed to support Grade 12 students who are completing their high school diploma requirements and planning to attend a Calgary post-secondary institution. The award emphasizes community involvement and requires applicants to demonstrate how their chosen career will help improve Canadian society through either a written essay or video submission. Recipients must maintain full-time enrollment and sufficient academic standing to receive continued funding across multiple years of post-secondary study.
