About this opportunity
The Calleo Indigenous Scholarship is offered through the University of Newcastle to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students in their second year of undergraduate study. Calleo Indigenous is a recruitment company providing skilled professionals to Government and the private sector in data management, professional support services, capability statements, SAP delivery and scribing services. Calleo demonstrates its commitment to reconciliation by supporting Indigenous causes through the Calleo Indigenous Community Fund (CICF). This scholarship supports students who face educational disadvantage including those who are carers and/or sole parents, experiencing financial hardship, living with long-term medical conditions or disabilities, dealing with ongoing effects of abuse, or facing geographic or English language difficulties. The scholarship provides $18,000 over three years to one selected student per year who maintains a minimum GPA of 4.0 with no failed courses and is not receiving another University of Newcastle donor-funded or sponsored scholarship concurrently.
