Cam MacFarlane Memorial Pre-Employment/Apprenticeship Award

Established in 2014 as part of Lakeland College's Centennial Campaign and in memory of a Lakeland College instructor who passed away in 2011, the Cam MacFarlane Memorial Pre-Employment/Apprenticeship Award is funded through donations from Cam's widow Vicki, college staff, and friends of Cam. The award is given to a pre-employment or apprenticeship carpentry student at Lakeland College. Recipients are selected based on academic achievement, being current with all modules and projects, displaying good work ethic, and Canadian citizenship. This award honors the legacy of Cam MacFarlane, a dedicated instructor who made significant contributions to trades education at Lakeland College.
