About this opportunity
The Canadian Centre for Health and Safety in Agriculture Award provides financial support to Saskatchewan high school students from farming backgrounds who are pursuing post-secondary education. This scholarship was initiated by the Saskatchewan Association of Rural Municipalities (S.A.R.M.) and is maintained by the CCHSA's Founding Chairs Program. The award recognizes students who have completed their last two years of high school in Saskatchewan, have farming backgrounds with parents or guardians who own or rent land and pay taxes to a rural municipality, and live in a rural area. Selection is based on essay submissions on agricultural health and safety topics.
