Canadian Scholarship Trust Foundation Founders' Awards

The CST Foundation Founders' Awards support students who have benefited from a Canadian Scholarship Trust RESP and are entering or enrolled in post-secondary studies in Canada. The program features three distinct award categories: undergraduate programs (14 awards of $7,000 each), graduate studies at Masters+ level (3 awards of $10,000 each), and skilled trades & community college-based programs (3 awards of $4,000 each). In 2026, the CST Foundation will award 20 Founders' Awards for a total investment of $140,000. The funds can be used to cover the cost of tuition and related expenses such as books, supplies, or living expenses. The application process consists of two phases: a written application evaluated on motivation, clarity of goals, and demonstrated financial need, followed by a video submission for shortlisted applicants focusing on career articulation and project presentation.
