Canadian Society for Chemical Engineering, Edmonton Section, Entrance Scholarship in Chemical Engineering

This is an annual entrance scholarship awarded to students with superior academic achievement entering the second year of studies in the Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering in the chemical engineering program at the University of Alberta, following completion of the qualifying year in the Faculty of Engineering. Recipients are selected based on academic standing, leadership qualities, and contributions to extra-curricular and/or community activities. The scholarship is funded through an endowment established by the Canadian Society for Chemical Engineering using funds from the 47th Canadian Chemical Engineering Conference held in Edmonton, Alberta in October 1997.
