About this opportunity
This funding has been made available by the Suffolk & NE Essex Integrated Care Board (SNEE ICB) to support the achievement of an increase in the proportion of those diagnosed with early-stage cancer (Stage 1 & 2). Total funding available is £200,000 across Ipswich and East, West Suffolk, and North East Essex. The Fund aims to achieve its outcomes through four key indicators: increased uptake of National Screening Programmes, early cancer diagnosis through improved signs and symptoms awareness, reduced health inequalities and improved access for Inclusion Health populations, and personalised care approaches. The fund supports projects that facilitate timely presentation through increased uptake of screening programmes and improved education/awareness of early cancer signs and symptoms. Applications are welcomed from not-for-profit organisations and public sector partnerships to deliver education, targeted screening initiatives, reduce barriers to healthcare access, and provide support for communities with lower rates of participation in national screening programmes or higher cancer risk.
