About This Opportunity
Cancer- och allergifonden offers research grants to researchers studying cancer and/or allergies who have employment or affiliation with a Swedish university or college. The foundation has an annual call for research grants, usually during early autumn. The maximum amount that can be applied for per project is 300,000 Swedish kronor and applications may only cover one year. Applicants are responsible for ensuring that all necessary permits (from Ethics Committee, Medical Products Agency, Data Protection Authority, etc.) are in place and that the project is conducted in accordance with good ethics and applicable legislation. The foundation's research grants may not be used for regular animal testing experiments.

Required documents
Review process
A review committee consisting of experts with expertise in different areas and operating in different parts of the country evaluates all research grant applications. Each expert conducts their assessment individually and independently by scoring a number of criteria according to an established template. Criteria include originality, scientific skill, relevance to cancer and/or allergies, and feasibility.
