Capital City of Podgorica Scholarship 2026

One Young World is proud to partner with the Capital City of Podgorica to launch the Capital City of Podgorica Scholarship 2026. The scholarship will support one exceptional young leader who is living and making an impact in Podgorica to attend the One Young World Summit 2026 in Cape Town, South Africa, from November 3-6, 2026. The scholarship seeks students, young professionals, social entrepreneurs, activists, innovators and youth leaders with a willingness to represent Podgorica on an international platform. The selected scholar will demonstrate a proven record of contributing to positive change in Podgorica or wider context of Montenegro, to protect the environment, promote youth participation, develop culture and digital innovation, or promote equality, education or entrepreneurship. The scholarship provides comprehensive support including full access to the One Young World Summit 2026, the One Young World Global Leadership Programme, Action Accelerator, and lifetime membership to the One Young World Ambassador Community. It also covers all essential travel expenses including economy return flights from Montenegro to Cape Town, hotel accommodation (November 2-7), meals, transportation, and visa costs if applicable. Podgorica, one of Europe's youngest capitals, was recently named European Youth Capital 2028, marking its commitment to youth participation, inclusion and community connection. This scholarship represents an opportunity for a young leader from Podgorica to gain international exposure and bring back impactful insights to their community.
