Care Leaver Bursary

The Care Leaver Bursary provides £1,500 per year to undergraduate and postgraduate taught students who are joining the university directly from local authority care. This bursary is offered as part of the University of Greenwich's commitment to accessibility and widening participation for higher education. It is worth £1,500 per year for up to three or four years depending on the length of your course, paid in cash and does not need to be repaid. Recipients also receive an additional £200 in the final year to support the costs of attending graduation. This funding opportunity is designed specifically to support care leavers under 25 who meet residency and financial criteria.
