About this opportunity

The Career Women's Network Scholarship Fund is designed to support non-traditional female students pursuing higher education in Central Georgia. Since 1980, Career Women's Network of Macon has been committed to providing women opportunities to further their education and prepare for leadership positions in the community. The scholarship is awarded to undergraduate women at least 25 years of age who are enrolled at accredited colleges, universities, or technical institutions and are pursuing their first bachelor's degree. Preference is given to students with financial need and those who reside in and attend post-secondary schools in the Central Georgia region. The application process also serves to select recipients for the Walters Family Scholarship Fund, which was established by Katherine Walters to help women pursue higher education. The scholarship is renewable for up to four years for prior recipients who maintain eligibility criteria and complete required follow-ups.
