About this opportunity
The Carl Amrhein Aboriginal Award is awarded to students who are First Nation, Inuit, or Métis people of Canada in accordance with the Constitution Act, 1982, Part 2, Section 35(2) with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in any year of an undergraduate degree. This award recognizes Indigenous students pursuing undergraduate education at the University of Alberta. Selection is based on academic standing and/or demonstrated involvement in the Indigenous community. The award is funded through an endowment established by the Carl Amrhein Aboriginal Fund Endowment, supporting Indigenous students' educational pursuits.
